Job Description

The position will report to the Associate Dean of Instruction for Health Careers for job responsibilities and other College related activities as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsibilities include preparing, teaching, and evaluating the prescribed courses in the classroom, laboratory or clinical setting;
• Teach an additional 6 weeks in summer at the direction of the Program Coordinator or Associate Dean;
• Serve on college committees as assigned;
• Must possess the ability to interact with a diverse student population; and
• Must perform other duties and responsibilities required of a full time faculty member as outlined in the Angelina College Policies and Procedures Manual.

Skills

• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in State of Texas required.
• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• Three years clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing required.
• Previous teaching experience in ADN nursing program preferred.
