Job Description

The Instructor will be responsible for preparing, teaching, and evaluating the prescribed courses in the classroom, laboratory or clinical setting. Teach an additional 6 weeks in summer at the direction of the Program Coordinator or Division Director. Perform other duties and responsibilities required of all full time faculty members as outlined in the Angelina College Policies and Procedures Manual. The instructor is administratively responsible and accountable to the nursing programs coordinator.


Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in State of Texas; Masters Degree in Nursing; three years clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing required and experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing. Previous teaching experience in ADN nursing program preferred.
